PoliciesClear expectations, so lessons run smoothly
These policies help us maintain high teaching standards while keeping things fair for every student and family.
A positive, organised and effective learning experience
We want every family to understand exactly how lessons are conducted, so students enjoy a smooth and successful learning experience from the first session onwards.
Attendance
Regular attendance is essential for steady academic progress. Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons punctually. Consistent attendance maintains learning continuity and prevents gaps in understanding.
Punctuality
Please join the online classroom a few minutes before the scheduled lesson so class can begin on time. Late arrival may reduce the effective teaching time available for that lesson.
Make-up lessons
If you are unable to attend a lesson, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance. Where possible, a make-up lesson will be arranged based on the tutor's and the student's availability.
Missed lessons
Lessons missed without prior notice are considered no-shows. As the lesson time has been reserved exclusively for the student, missed lessons without notice are not eligible for a make-up class or refund.
Homework
Homework is an important part of our programme. Students are expected to complete all assigned work before the next lesson, so new topics build naturally on previous learning. Homework is reviewed regularly with constructive feedback.
Online classroom expectations
- Join lessons on time
- Keep the camera switched on throughout
- Participate actively and ask questions
- Minimise distractions during class
- Treat the tutor and others with respect
What your child needs before the first lesson
- A laptop or desktop computer
- A stable internet connection
- Headphones or speakers, recommended
- Writing materials and a calculator where required
A larger screen is recommended over a mobile phone for subjects involving mathematical working and diagrams.

Parent partnership
Parents play an important role in supporting learning. We encourage parents to provide a quiet study environment, encourage regular attendance, support homework completion, communicate any concerns promptly, and celebrate effort and progress.
Learning materials
Complimentary worksheets and lesson resources are provided to support learning. These materials are intended for the enrolled student's personal educational use and should not be copied, distributed or shared without permission.
Respectful learning environment
Students are encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes and learn with confidence. Mutual respect, kindness and professionalism are expected throughout every lesson.

Ask us before you enrol
If you have any questions about our policies, we are always happy to help. Our goal is that every family understands how lessons work before the first session.
